A friend whom I visited a few years back in Philadelphia took me to Reading Terminal Market - what a place! I only wish I'd taken many more and better-quality pictures.

My market home away from home ;-) Downtown Cheese is still there of course, and later this year we're getting another cheesemonger, Valley Shepherd Creamery, that will make and age their cheeses onsite. Sadly, the number of butchers has declined but the seafood dealers and various PA Dutch are alll busy.
